Julia Fox has seemingly defended Kim Kardashian after the reality star faced severe criticism for her failure to cut ties with Balenciaga following recent controversy.
The fashion house faced a huge backlash after publishing a global ad campaign which featured children holding teddy bear bags accessorised with bondage gear.
The pictures also included documents referencing a Supreme Court ruling on child abuse material.
31-year-old Julia, who briefly dated Kim's ex Kanye West, slammed the "pushback" female stars associated with the brand have faced since the disturbing campaign.
"I have zero relationship with the brand. I've never even been to one of their shows, they haven't invited me. Regardless, I think it’s horrific and when I was reading and watching all the videos I literally felt sick to my stomach.
"But I couldn’t help but think, damn, the women who are associated to the brand professionally are getting so much pushback, it’s almost as if they’re the f*****g child molesters," Julia said in a video shared on TikTok.
Text on the screen read: "Why are women being blamed for a MAN'S mistake? It’s the internalized misogyny for me."
In a second rant, Julia said: "This isn't an issue with Hollywood, this isn't an issue with the fashion world, this isn't an issue with celebrities.
"This is an issue with men goddammit!"
Julia's videos come after 42-year-old Kim said she has been left "shaken" by Balenciaga's ad, but didn't cut ties with the company.
The reality star has a long history with Balenciaga, featuring in their winter 2022 campaign and walking in the Balenciaga Paris fashion show back in July.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Kim said: "I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been shocked and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.
"As a mother of four, I have been shaken by those disturbing images.
"The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and anything against it should have no place in our society - period."
She continued: "I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology.
"In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again."
Following the launch of the ad, Balenciaga apologised to fans for any distress caused. In a statement, the company said: "We strongly condemn abuse of children in any form. We stand for children safety and well-being."
