Judge To Continue Jury Selection Process After Lunch

During a recent court session, defense attorney Todd Blanche requested more time, prompting Judge Juan Merchan to announce that they would review the list of potential jurors and dismiss some after the lunch break.

The court proceedings are scheduled to resume at 2:15 p.m. ET as per Judge Merchan's directive.

To ensure a fair selection process, Judge Merchan mentioned that the last six potential jurors present in the gallery would be considered as replacements for any dismissed jurors.

Currently, there are six potential jurors who have not yet undergone questioning. Once this group completes their interviews, Judge Merchan expressed his intention to introduce a second panel of prospective jurors later in the day.

Following these developments, the jurors exited the courtroom, marking the conclusion of the session.
