Judge Juan Merchan's gag order hearing has been rescheduled to take place at 9:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, May 2. The reason for the change in date and time remains unclear. Initially, the judge had announced that the hearing would occur on Wednesday at 2:15 p.m. ET before adjourning the court session.

The rescheduling of the hearing comes in the wake of a motion filed by the prosecution, alleging that former President Donald Trump had violated the gag order on four separate occasions in recent days. The prosecution argued its case in court, prompting further legal proceedings in this matter.
