Jury selection in the second civil trial after E. Jean Carroll accused former U.S. President Donald Trump of raping her decades ago, in New York City

Judge Juan Merchan has resumed his duties on the bench and expressed his apologies for the delayed start of proceedings.

The court is currently awaiting the arrival of potential jurors.

There are approximately 32 prospective jurors remaining from the previous day's selection process.

The court session is now in progress, with both the prosecution and defense teams continuing to assess and question potential jurors in order to finalize a jury of 12 members, along with six alternates.
