During a recent court session, Judge Juan Merchan expressed concern over the level of detail being presented by prosecutors in the case involving adult film actress Stormy Daniels. The judge deemed the amount of detail as unnecessary and urged the prosecutors to streamline their questioning.
Before the break, Daniels was questioned about an alleged encounter with then-real estate mogul Donald Trump at a Lake Tahoe hotel room. The incident reportedly occurred after Trump invited Daniels to dinner following their meeting at a celebrity golf tournament in 2006.
Daniels has claimed that she engaged in a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006 and received a payment of $130,000 from Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, in 2016 to keep the story confidential. This payment forms the basis of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's criminal case against Trump, which includes 34 charges of falsifying business records.
Trump has consistently denied the alleged affair with Daniels, maintaining his innocence throughout the legal proceedings.
