Jude Bellingham demanded “more” from Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards after the pair staged a brilliant rendition of 'Hey Jude' after he equalled a Champions League record.
The Borussia Dortmund star found himself on the scoresheet once again in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Sevilla. It was the fourth Champions League game in a row in which Bellingham has found the net - matching the record for goals scored in consecutive games by teenagers currently held by Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
Having seen Bellingham extend his scintillating form on the European stage, both Carragher and Richards were only too delighted to pay a hilarious tribute to the England whizkid.
In the midst of CBS’ coverage of the Champions League, the pair broke into their own rendition of Beatles’ hit “Hey Jude” - the chorus getting a particularly passionate outing with the duo linking hands and swinging side to side.
The song left host Kate Abdo and fellow pundit Thierry Henry stunned, although Bellingham himself appeared to be much more of a fan.
Responding to a tweet of the pair’s sing-song, he replied: “Top @Carra23, @MicahRichards need a bit more.”
Carragher’s serenade is certainly not the first time that he has hailed Bellingham as he continues to be linked with a move to the ex-defender’s former club Liverpool.
Speaking after the former Birmingham City man scored last week, he said: “Jude Bellingham is the captain on the night and I think he’s the youngest Englishman to captain a team in the Champions League.”
Following his latest goalscoring appearance, Dortmund teammate Mats Hummels also praised the midfielder for his attitude and recent performances for the German giants. Speaking after their draw with Sevilla on Tuesday, he said: "He always wants to win, every training session, every game.
"I wish I had that kind of energy still. He's played every minute this season. He's allowed to make mistakes. I'd rather have him play that way and complain five times than someone who was silent for 90 minutes and was less ambitious."

Bellingham will be aiming to continue having an impact for Dortmund in Europe as they attempt to plot a route through to knockout rounds of the Champions League.
They take on Man City and Copenhagen over the coming weeks, with a point enough to see them secure their progression.
In the meantime, Bellingham will also be hoping to open his domestic goalscoring account this week with Dortmund set to do battle with Bundesliga table-toppers Union Berlin.
