Jude Bellingham reaction spotted as he's asked to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold book

Liverpool fans still harbour hope the Reds can land Jude Bellingham's signature this summer, if recent developments are anything to go by.

The England international has sparked fresh optimism among the Liverpool fanbase after he was filmed signing a Trent Alexander-Arnold book while at a Borussia Dortmund training session. While there is no audio to accompany the footage, Bellingham seemed to have no issue with leaving his signature.

In actual fact, the midfielder acknowledges the fact it is a book about his international team-mate as he turns it around to the camera and laughs. Bellingham has been in Marbella alongside his Dortmund colleagues recently as the German giants gear up for the resumption of the Bundesliga later this month.

In regards to Bellingham's club future, there has been relentless speculation over where the teenage sensation could play his football next season.

For some time, Liverpool were viewed as the favourites to win the race for his services. These odds were only helped by how friendly Bellingham appeared with the Liverpool players while away on World Cup duty with the Three Lions last month.

Both Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson were spending a fair share of their downtime in Bellingham's company and many supporters felt that was the clearest indication yet that the 19-year-old will be Anfield-bound.

Recent comments from boss Jurgen Klopp raised eyebrows further, with the Liverpool boss waxing lyrical about Bellingham's talent and discussing how much he could end up costing.

"I don't like to talk about money when you talk about a player like him. Everyone can see he is just exceptional," the German explained.

"If you mention to someone who has no clue about football, or who knows about football and has not watched it for a while (and ask) 'How old do you think Jude Bellingham is?', I don't think anyone would get even close to his age.

"They would say 28 or 29 because he plays so maturely. He played an exceptional World Cup. Absolutely exceptional."

Klopp went on to add: "I really think if we all want to do him a favour then we do not talk too much about money. I mean that from an England point of view. Do not throw any hurdles in his development."

Any speculation suggesting Bellingham has decided on his next move is thought to be false, with the player expected to sit down with those at the top of the Dortmund hierarchy later this month to discuss his future. Real Madrid remain Liverpool's biggest threat in sealing Bellingham's signature.
