Jude Bellingham cut a dejected figure after Borussia Dortmund's final day title collapse - and he shoved a camera away from his face following the full-time whistle.
Bellingham, 19, was left on the bench for Dortmund's game against Mainz at Westfalenstadion after suffering a knee injury. He didn't even end up coming on as Edin Terzic's side were held to a 2-2 draw in a topsy-turvy affair, with Nicolas Sule scoring a last-minute equaliser for BVB.
This meant Bayern Munich needed to win to lift the Bundesliga title and they did just that, securing a dramatic 2-1 victory over Koln. Jamal Musiala netted a late winner for Thomas Tuchel's men as they claimed their 11th straight Bundesliga title despite struggling form of recent late.
However, the focus after Dortmund's title collapse was on Bellingham. The England international was distraught after the full-time whistle and couldn't hold back the tears. But as a TV camera came his way on the pitch, Bellingham decided to swiftly push it away.
Bellingham appeared to be devastated and distraught as his chance of winning his first major league title came to a crashing end. Dortmund knew a win would secure their first title since 2012 but Terzic's side were slow out of the blocks and conceded two first-half goals to give themselves a mountain to climb.
Raphael Guerreiro struck with 20 minutes to go, before Sule netted in the 96th minute but it was too little too late as Dortmund couldn't scramble through a winner. Conversely, Thomas Tuchel has been able to salvage Bayern's season. The Bavarians chose to axe Julian Nagelsmann in March and replace him with Tuchel, citing concerns over their development as their reason for changing.
Tuchel has struggled to get Bayern ticking however, winning less than half his games in charge. Dortmund's slip though means they've claimed the title for the 11th straight year. Failures in the cup and in Europe had meant those at the Allianz Arena were facing a trophyless year.
In the build-up to the final day Tuchel had suggested that, even a title win wouldn't make their season a success. He said: "It's our own fault, our own responsibility. Of course, we'll try to run the race to the end because we're obliged to give everything to the end.
"It won't be a season that we can be happy with. It won't be a season in which the number of points is enough for our demands, in which the quality of our game is enough for us. Regardless of how it goes in the end, it won't be a satisfactory season anymore."
