The Queen's Platinum Jubilee extended bank holiday weekend is finally here, which means a change to supermarket opening and closing times.
There will be a little less time than usual to do your shopping today, as retailers give staff extra time to enjoy the bank holiday. So if you're looking to stock up on extra food and drink for your street party, or need some other household essentials, be sure to check the opening times before you head out.

We've rounded up the opening and closing times for many of the large supermarkets below. Some smaller stores and convenience shops will remain open later as usual. We've included store locators for each of the shops, so you can check your nearest branch.
Tesco
Tesco Superstores have slightly different hours for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee bank holiday. Here are some of the larger Merseyside stores detailed below. For other stores, including Express and Metro stores, check opening times on the Tesco website here.

Liverpool ONE, 7am to 8pm; Allerton Road, 7am to 8pm; Woolton, 8am to 8pm; Old Swan, 7am to 8pm; West Derby, 8am to 10pm; Formby 6am to 8pm, Litherland 6am to 8pm; Heswall, 7am to 8pm.
M&S
Opening times vary across different Marks and Spencer stores today. These are the opening times for the Merseyside stores and you can check others using the M&S store finder here.
Church Street 9am to 8pm Thursday, 8:30am 8pm Friday; Edge Lane 8am to 8pm; Queen’s Drive (West Derby) 8am to 8pm; Aintree 8am to 9pm; Bromborough 9am to 6pm; New Mersey Shopping Park (Speke) 8am to 8pm.
Morrisons
