Jota was back at Lennoxtown today as he and his Celtic teammates trained before heading down to Birmingham for tomorrow's Champions League tie against Aston Villa.
However, there was no sign of Cameron Carter-Vickers as Brendan Rodgers' side were put through their paces in the winter sun.
Sky Sports had their camera crew there to film some of the start of Celtic's training session.
And while they showed new £9m signing Jota was back with his new - and old - teammates, they stated that Carter-Vickers was absent.
Jota cannot play tomorrow night as he is not registered in the Hoops' UCL squad. He will have to wait until this weekend's Scottish Premiership game against Motherwell to make his second debut.

Gordon Duncan reported: "Although he won't play, Jota is back, re-signing for Celtic around 18 months after leaving.
"An excellent piece of business by Celtic. He's still only 25, so although he's not played a lot of football since leaving Celtic, Brendan Rodgers will no doubt feel he can get the best out of him, starting with getting him back into training and trying to get more minutes in the legs.
"He's back out there with his new teammates though, and for them, full focus is on Aston Villa.
"We'll see Jota somewhere down the line, we'll see if Celtic can replace Kyogo and maybe even a return for Kieran Tierney as well."

Celtic go into Wednesday night's game knowing that they're guaranteed a spot in the play-off of the competition no matter the result.
They will want to make sure they're seeded for that draw, though.
Villa still have a top-eight slot - and therefore automatic passage into the last-16 - to play for.
