Jota on Celtic exit brink as star spotted with Al Ittihad chief in Dubai after 'passing medical'

Celtic star Jota appears to have been spotted in Dubai with an Al-Ittihad director as he hones in on a switch to Saudi Arabia. And it's being claimed he has passed his medical with an announcement now imminent.

Jota stands on the verge of a moneyspinning switch which will see Celtic bank close to £20m after a sell-on percentage is paid to Benfica. It's believed he's been offered close to £200,000 per week untaxed and will join Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante under Nuno Espirito Santo's charge at the Saudi league champions.

Brendan Rodgers and his team returned to Lennoxtown for training on Monday and Jota was posted missing from the action as he looks to finalise his move to the Middle East. And now Ittihad news source Itti Mania have shared a pic appearing to show Jota, iconic mullet and all, in Dubai with their vice president Ahmed Kaaki. Reports also say Jota has passed his medical and with both clubs happy, a deal could come any time now.
