Jota nails his Celtic colours to the mast as he sports Hoops in holiday kickabout

Jota got involved in an impromptu kickabout while on holiday, according to one fan.

And he was snapped wearing a Celtic shirt as he makes no secret about where his allegiance lies.

As Record Sport revealed over the weekend, the Hoops are locked in talks to bring the Benfica winger back to Parkhead after he played a key role in their title charge last term.

They've agreed to activate the £6.4million release clause in the loan agreement and Ange Postecoglou expects him to sign off on personal terms.

And it seems he's nailed his colours to the mast as he's been pictured in a Celtic shirt while relaxing on holiday.

Twitter user @MattyOneill94 says he was stunned when he asked a two men to make up the numbers in his kickabout - only to realise one of them was Jota himself.

And he shared pictures of them to prove it - showing Jota proudly wearing green and white.

He wrote: "Had a game yest, needed players so asked couple lads that were there to play…… it was Jota from Celtic and some pro playing in Cyprus.

"We played then kicked around for 2 hours after and then had a couple of pints with the lads talking pure football. Top guys!"

Jota has been in Ibiza and latterly New York.
