Jota was reportedly set to fly into Glasgow on Thursday night to finalise his transfer return to Celtic.
The Rennes winger has been tipped to re-join Celtic as Kyogo Furuhashi departs for the Ligue 1 club.
Reports have stated Jota is ready to complete his proposed return to Celtic with plans in place for the winger to jet into Scotland on Thursday.

However, Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph has revealed the flight was delayed as a result of the strong winds caused by Storm Eowyn.
It's now thought the finer details of the deal will be thrashed out over the weekend with Jota to travel after the red weather warnings pass in the UK.
