Celtic winger Jota shut down an interview following the Scottish Cup success after he was put on the spot about Ange Postecoglou joining Tottenham.
The Scottish champions celebrated in the Hampden sunshine as Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and the Portuguese winger got on the scoresheet got on the scoresheet at the at the national stadium to see off Inverness Caley Thistle, who got a consolation through Daniel Mackay in Mount Florida. It was a historic Treble for the club as they sealed a world record eighth - but attention quickly turned to the manager's future.
Tottenham are expected to ramp up their bid to land the boss with the Celtic boss the number one target in North London as Antonio Conte’s successor with talks expected to take place between Postecgolou and Tottenham chief Daniel Levy in the coming days. But Jota didn't appear keen to talk about the future of the Celtic boss as he enjoyed the post match celebrations.
Speaking to Viaplay, the winger was asked about the importance of Postecoglou to continuing Celtic's success: "Ange is definitely someone who will be mired in Celtic history forever. What he has been doing throguhoyt these two years is just unbelievable. It is just brilliant to have a coach like that. We just hope we can do it again for a lot of years."
He was then pressed on if Postecoglou would stay - leading to an abrupt end to the interview. He responded: "That's not a question for me." The 24-year-old then walked away shaking his hand and head before celebrating with the trophy.
