Jota could have two Saudi sides battling it out for his signature, according to reports.
Media outlets in the Middle East claim that two mega-rich teams in Saudi Arabia want to sign the 24-year-old Celtic star.
It's said that the Hoops will rake in over £20million for selling their top asset.
It emerged on Thursday that Al-Ittihad were close to signing the Portuguese winger.
Some reports state that Jota has agreed terms with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
But it now seems that they could be rivalled by newly promoted top-flight side Al-Ahli.
It comes as fans of their club took to social media to demand that Jota is signed. Al-Ittihad are their fierce rivals in Saudi.
The campaign was named “Felipe Jota, Ahlawis demand”. Supporters have been trying to put pressure on club president Khaled Al-Essa to beat Al-Ittihad to the signing of Jota.
They will need to up the ante if they're to achieve that though, with negotiations between Al-Ittihad and Celtic ongoing.
Celtic bought Jota last summer for £6.5million from Benfica after he enjoyed a successful first spell on a season-long loan.
The Scottish champions will pocket a hefty profit from the sale, but Benfica will be due a sizeable portion of it as they have a 30 per cent sell-on clause.
Jota could make the switch to Saudi officially this week, where he will earn eye-watering sums of money - even as much as £192K per week.
