Joss Stone looked worlds away from her 00s pop starlet days as she gave a rare TV interview on ITV 's Lorraine earlier this morning.
The singer-songwriter, 34, appeared on the show to discuss her latest album Never Forget My Love, released earlier this month - which is her first new record in around seven years.
Joss worked on the album with Dave Stewart, 69 - who's best known as one half of pop duo Eurythmics, alongside Annie Lennox, 67, - with him understood to have produced it.
During a chat with TV host Lorraine,
Joss was seen wearing a short black dress for the interview, with the ensemble quite different from the colourful attire that she used to wear, with her often in flowing dresses.
Asked why it's been years since she released music, Joss said: "It's been a while. I had this idea that I wanted to play every country in the world and it just took a while."
And she also discussed her experience the Masked Singer - having won the ITV singing competition last year, whilst disguised as the Sausage, during its second season.
Commenting on the experience, she said: "It was my favourite thing. I honestly think it was the funniest, funniest gig I have ever done. I got to sing some great songs."
Joss said that music has always been her priority, but with the show "all that goes out the window," with her adding: "You have to have a laugh. And I think we all need a laugh."
The third series of the show - which concluded earlier this month - saw singer and former Neighbours star Natalie Imbruglia, 47, become the latest winner as Panda.

Lorraine expressed excitement over the result, with Joss subsequently revealing that Panda had been her one-year-old daughter Violet's "favourite" character.
The Masked Singer was recently renewed for two more series, though it's yet to be announced when it'll return. The Masked Dancer however will be back later this year.
Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am and Starstruck continues on Saturday from 8.30pm. Both are on ITV and ITV Hub.
