Josip Juranovic on Manchester United 'wanted list' as Celtic star attracts multiple A-listers

In-demand Celtic star Josip Juranovic is reportedly on Manchester United's wanted list amid interest from English Premier League rivals Chelsea.

The 26-year-old has previously been on the radar of Atletico Madrid amid his exploits under Ange Postecoglou and with the Croatia national team. And now the Daily Mail state Juranovic is on the Old Trafford side's wanted list. The right-back is set to start for his country at the World Cup after establishing himself as a key man at international level.

Juranovic has made it clear he is happy in Glasgow but the Premiership champions' resolve may be tested before the window closes at the end of the month. The former Legia Warsaw star was a key man en route to title glory and his form caught the eye of Diego Simeone's side. It comes after journalist Ižak Ante Sučić gave the prospect of an imminent move to Chelsea a big nope.

And now Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag is also casting admiring glance towards Glasgow's east end. Juranovic previously stated he is loving life with Celtic.

He said last month: "I hope there was something in the (Atletico) stories, but honestly I didn't even ask our manager or anything about it. I didn't care. I have to keep my feet firmly on the ground.

"It was Atletico Madrid after all, but I'm at a big club already, Celtic. Finally I have the chance to play in the Champions League here. Just to hear the atmosphere, that anthem and to get to play on that stage."
