Josip Juranovic has simply branded Celtic captain Callum McGregor as a 'legend' for his landmark 400th appearance for the Hoops.
It was 400 not out for the Scotland cap as McGregor guided Celtic to a 2-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice with goals from Jota and Aaron Mooy sealing three points for Ange Postecoglou's men. And while Juranovic is no longer part of the Scottish champions' squad, the defender seems to be staying true to his connections to Parkhead.
The Croatian sealed a deal to Bundesliga side Union Berlin last week, landing Celtic a reported £10m package in the process, after contract talks with the 27-year-old in Glasgow had stalled. Juranovic got off to a flying start for surprise package Union with an assist in his debut and a starring role in a huge derby win over city rivals Hertha.

But the former Parkhead man was quick to react on social media to McGregor's milestone of 400 games, simply branding the midfielder a 'legend'.
McGregor himself admitted it was an honour to reach so many appearances but says he couldn't have foreseen it. He said: "Probably not in terms of the scale of it.
"Once you start to rack up these wee milestones, you realise you are doing something right, your preparation is good and your performance is good.
“As long as I stay on that track and stay hungry and fit and healthy, I’m hoping to make a few more.”
