Josip Juranovic 'expected to leave Celtic' with transfer interest high from English Premier League

Josip Juranovic is expected to leave Celtic this summer, according to a report.

The Croatia international has excelled in his first season in Scotland following his £2.5million switch from Legia Warsaw last year.

Ange Postecoglou recruited the versatile full-back - who can play on the left or right - as part of his Parkhead rebuild last term.

He penned a five-year deal on his arrival at the club with his current agreement running until 2026.

Celtic would be looking for a top end fee if they were to agree to sell the defender, who helped them recapture the Premiership title from Rangers and lift the Premier Sports Cup last season.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano says the 26-year-old has many clubs following him this summer - including interest from the English Premier League.

He tweeted: "Croatian national team right back Josip Juranovic is expected to leave Celtic FC this summer as many clubs are following him.

"Juranovic is attracting interests from Premier League clubs too after great season for club and country."

Juranovic starred for his country in the recent international break as he played all four of Croatia's Nations League games including the victory over France in Paris.

He played 35 games in all competitions for Celtic last season netting five goals and providing two assists.

Should he remain at Parkhead he will get a crack at the Champions League group stages with the Hoops.
