Celtic star Josip Juranovic is at the centre of a transfer merry-go-round which could see the Croatia international end up at at Roma before the end of the January window.
A host of Serie A clubs are looking to land the Croatia international with Monza long-time admirers while Torino are also keeping tabs on the full-back this month with a £7million price tag floated for the 27-year-old by reports in Italy. However, after Juranovic impressed at the World Cup for his country on route to the semi-final and a third-placed finish the Parkhead chiefs could hold out for a bumper payday.
Reports suggest Jose Mourinho's men are set to enter the signing race with Monza now exploring the opportunity of taking Rick Karsdorp from the Stadio Olimpico this month, with several outlets in Italy claiming the Dutch international is no longer part of the plans at Roma. Monza are reportedly among the frontrunner for a deal, with Southampton and Bournemouth also credited with an interest.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juranovic is top of Mourinho's right-back wishlist this month, with Hamari Traore of Rennes named as a potential alternative. The report suggest the Parkhead defender may present a cheaper option for the Italian giants, with Rennes demanding just over £8million for the Mali international.
Juranovic has been linked with a host of clubs this month including Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea. Alistair Johnston has been preferred at right-back by Ange Postecoglou following his return to Celtic following Qatar 2022.
