Josie Gibson has confirmed that she won't be on This Morning for all of this week, revealing that one of her co-stars will be ack to take the reins on Friday, as fans lap up the partnership between her and Dermot O'Leary.
In the middle of last week it as revealed that Josie, who first shot to fame back in 2010, when she won the last series of Big Brother on Channel 4, has cemented herself as a big favourite with viewers of the ITV daytime show, after getting an unexpected promotion towards the end of 2021.
While she was on her way somewhere to host a competition for This Morning, she was called into the studio to deputise for Holly Willoughby after she fell ill suddenly. That shock call up to main hosting duties led to Josie presenting alongside Phillip Schofield and, since then she has also teamed up with Vernon Kay, Craig Doyle and Andi Peters, with her partnership with Craig going down well with fans in 2022.

The growing support for Josie to be a main presenter on the programme meant that there was a very positive reaction to news that she was given another opportunity to step up as Holly and Phillip took a break for half term. It took just minutes of her being on screen on Monday for viewers to celebrate her return.
However, as Wednesday's show started she revealed that she won't be on This Morning all week, declaring that 'queen' Alison Hammond would be returning to her usual Friday hosting role alongside Dermot. Within seconds of cameras rolling on the episode, Josie was telling Dermot how much she'd enjoyed working with him, saying: "Aw, I love you so much. I've had such a good week here with you, thank you. You're so sweet."
Reassuring her that their double act wasn't coming to an end quite yet, Dermot replied: "We've still got another day...two more days!"
Josie then added: "Today and tomorrow and then our queen is back. Alison will be ack to grace your screens."
