Josie Gibson returned to This Morning on Thursday for a very brief appearance, which left fans angry on her behalf as she was relegated to a minor role. And the upset stems from the fact that many viewers are still adamant she should be one of the show's main presenters.
Josie's 'cameo' on Thursday's edition of the ITV daytime programme came just two weeks after she did front the show, as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby continued their time off; with the former Big Brother winner presenting alongside Craig Doyle during the second week of Easter.
Her first stint as main This Morning host, towards the end of 2021, may have been accidental as Holly suddenly fell ill, but Josie has plenty of champions amongst ITV viewers, who have since welcomed her getting numerous opportunities to step up to join forces with Phillip, Vernon Kay and Andi Peters and pushed for her to be given a more prominent role on a permanent basis.

After Phillip''s three hiatus from the show and Holly being off longer than planned, due to a nasty bout of shingles, the pair have been reunited this week, with Josie appearing as a guest in the studio on Thursday, to deliver her picks of the best Coronation themed food available to buy, ahead of King Charles' big day.
But, while loving seeing her back on their screens, it didn't take long for viewers to take to Twitter, annoyed that she only played a bit part in the show.
Making that very complaint, one posted: "Love Josie and it’s a tragedy she’s peddling tat food and not presenting." Another tweeted: "Aww Josie's in #ThisMorning," with others more bothered about where they could get their hands on the crown headband Josie was wearing to deliver the Coronation segment.
