Josie Gibson red-faced as Corrie's Sue Devaney shares Michael Le Vell's reaction to 'crush'

Josie Gibson was left red-faced today as Coronation Street actress Sue Devaney revealed her co-star Michael Le Vell's reaction to her "fine wine" remarks.

The 37 year old previously admitted that she had a crush on the Kevin Webster actor on This Morning, likening him to a "fine wine" that gets better with age.

Hosting alongside Craig Doyle on the ITV show today, they were joined by Debbie Webster star Sue Devaney.

Josie began by saying: "We've got to talk about your surname - the character's surname, because you are Kevin's sister..."

"Listen, I know, I know," Sue said as she pointed a finger. "Because you had a mad crush, didn't you? On our Kevin. You said last time, 'He's like a fine wine!'

"So I went back to him in the green room and I said, 'Oh, Michael, you're like a fine wine!'"

Giggling, an embarrassed Josie asked: "What did he say?!"

Sue quipped: "His little face went, 'Oo, yeah!'"

Earlier this year, Josie was left gobsmacked as she received a personal message from the actor himself on This Morning.

Reminding her of her comments the previous week, Phil cheekily remarked: "She doesn't know anything about this, he's actually been in touch."

Shocked and turning red, Josie gasped as she put her hands in front of her mouth.

"He's not here is he?" Josie asked.

"No he's not here," Phil said. "You went big on that one, didn't you? No, he wanted to say this..."

Michael then popped up on screen as he addressed her and said: "Hi Josie. It's Michael Le Vell. I saw your little 'fine wine' comment on This Morning the other day. Someone sent it me, and you know what?

"Every now and again in the pub, I just play it to the lads to wind them up. But thanks a lot for that! And maybe one day we'll meet up in person in the studio! Thanks again and have a wonderful day."

*This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
