Josie Gibson has been confirmed for ITV's Cooking With The Stars and will take on This Morning colleague Clodagh McKenna who is also taking part in the show. News of their battle sparked a war of words on the daytime programme, with Josie telling her co-star: "You're going down!"
At the start of this month, usual hosting duo Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, announced they were taking an extended break for Easter, with producers then confirming that they would be replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary i n the first week, before Josie took over alongside Vernon Kay. Josie and Vernon's first day was Monday, April 11 and, just as titles rolled on This Morning, it was announced that former Big Brother winner Josie will soon be popping up on Cooking With The Stars.
She will join Strictly judge Anton Du Beke, Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, The Chase's Governess Anne Hegerty, Love Island’s Maura Higgins, TV medic Dr Ranj Singh, comedian Joe Wilkinson and DJ and son of Fatboy Slim and Zoe Ball, Woody Cook. Across a series of exciting cooking battles, the celebrities will be trained by their mentor chefs, including Irish chef Clodagh and Jean-Christophe Novelli, to produce dishes that will be judged by the remaining professionals.

The bottom two will then have to fight for their place in the ITV competition, creating a dish without any help from their mentor. The result of this eliminator will be decided by a blind tasting judgement from the professional chefs. Unaware of whose food they are tasting, their greatest supporter could swiftly and unwittingly become their worst critic and vote for their protégé to leave the competition.
Cooking With The Stars series two is set to launch on ITV this summer and Josie discussed it on This Morning, with chef Clodagh also in the studio at the time. Josie said: "Well, I have signed up for Cooking With The Stars and I cannot tell you how difficult it is! I did not realise how bad my memory is!"
Looking over at Clodagh, Josie said: "So I've got to learn to cook all of these incredible dishes, and I am with a bit of a legend actually... sorry Clodagh." The camera then cut to Clodagh who looked unimpressed, as Josie continued: "Clodagh is in Cooking With The Stars as well, but I am with legend Tony Singh.... MBE Tony Singh."
Claddagh is paired with Dr Ranj and, talking up their prospects, she said: "So we go head-to-head, I've got the lovely Dr Ranj, who is - I have to say - brilliant. "He came in and he didn't know anything about cooking and he is just... I mean, I love teaching."
Getting the last word in, Josie fired back: "Well I just want to let you know Clodagh, that you're going down!"
