Josh Wright’s wife Hollie Kane has thanked the public for their support after she revealed their youngest baby was born prematurely at 28 weeks.
The tot, who has yet to be named, is being kept in an incubator at an Essex hospital until he is strong enough to come home.
He was born 12 weeks early weighing just 2.4lbs.
Hollie and Josh – the brother of former TOWIE stars Mark and Jess Wright - bravely went public with their story over their weekend and say the next two months are crucial.
Updating her 121,000 followers on her little man’s progress, Hollie shared a new photo of her baby son and wrote: “Cuddles with my little guy.”
In another post to her Instagram stories she said: “Thank you all so much for the love and support and sharing your stories with me.”
Hollie continued: “To all the NICU mums who have reached out to me I am so overwhelmed with the hundreds of you sharing your stories.
“Trying to get through all the messages but I can’t thank you enough, thinking of your little ones.”
She also added gifs which said: “Preemie Power” and “You are not alone.”
Josh and Hollie’s families have been rallying around them ever since their baby boy came into the world on February 11.
Aunty Jess Wright wrote: "Love beyond words our little warrior. Love you all."
Josh's TV presenter brother Mark Wright commented: "Love you all to the moon and back x"
And Mark's actress wife Michelle Keegan added: "We can’t wait to meet you little man. You’ll be home very soon."
Josh's mum Carol wrote: "I cannot express how brave, kind, loving courageous parents you are.
“Hollie you are a caring brave girl, what you have both experienced you have showed such courage like we have never known.
“You both are the best parents ever, and this little angel couldn’t wish for any better to help him grow in to the son you have.
“Every night has been a worry, but you both have never showed it, you both have just showed love and happiness along the way. We love you both and cannot wait to cuddle this new bundle of joy. We are proud of you both Xxxx."
Hollie revealed what her family was going through in a heartbreaking post over the weekend.
Sharing the first photos of their newborn in an incubator, she wrote: “At 28 weeks, 12 weeks early our beautiful baby boy was born on 11.2.23 at 6.08am weighing 2.4lbs.
“Caught us by surprise for sure but we can’t thank @princessalexandranhs midwives, nurses, doctors and everyone associated enough for making what has been such a difficult time that little bit easier, you have been truly amazing.”
“The past two weeks have been manic to say the least along with being very scary and emotional but all we can hope for is our ray of sunshine keeps improving and getting stronger ready to come home in the next couple of months please god.
“Our baby boy is looking healthy and we simply couldn’t love him anymore already.”
Hollie continued: “To our family, friends and loved ones that have been by our side you know you mean the world to us and we can’t wait until you get to meet him.
“Life throws up the unexpected and can be difficult at times but as they say remember there will always be a happy ending if you are willing to fight for it and he certainly seems to be a fighter... You’ve got this son.”
She ended the post with: “Ps your big brother is waiting for you.”
Hollie and footballer Josh got married in 2018 and already share older son Joshua James, who has just turned one.
