Josh Windass has named a former Rangers colleague as the BEST player he has played alongside.
The ex- Light Blues star, plying his trade in England's League One with Sheffield Wednesday, took part in a Q&A on Instagram with fans offered the chance to ask him a question. One cropped up about the top talent he has played alongside with a former Ibrox face making the cut. He shared an image of himself and Nico Kranjcar during their Rangers days and wrote: "In terms of pure ability and brain. This man easy."
Rangers then got a second nod when it came to his top three stadiums for atmosphere. Celtic also made the cut with the top three posted as Hillsbrough, Ibrox and Celtic Park.. The 29-year-old made the move to Scotland in 2016 with his spell only lasting two seasons before a switch back down south to Wigan Athletic. During his spell in Glasgow, Windass notched 19 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.

He's now a key player for Sheffield Wednesday with 15 goals and seven assists so far this campaign as they bid for a return to the English Championship. The Owls are well in the promotion picture and will have their eyes set on the league title.
They currently sit second behind Plymouth by two points - but have two games on hand over the table toppers. Ipswich Town are three behind Darren Moore's side but have played a game more. Barnsley are also in the promotion shake-up in what should prove an exciting end to the season with a spot in England's second tier the big prize.
It's been a memorable campaign for Windass who also scored an FA Cup double in a shock win over Newcastle United in the third round. Eddie Howe's men have been flying in their hunt for Champions League football next season while they were also defeated League Cup finalists against Manchester United.
Next up for Wednesday is an away trip to bottom club Forest Green before another day on the road at Cheltenham as they bid to bounce back to form after defeat last time out to promotion rivals Barnsley that brought an end to their unbeaten run.
Boss Moore commented: “First and foremost I went around every player in that dressing room and congratulated them all on the unbeaten run because that takes incredible mentality.
“The run is over now, we accept that and we have to dust ourselves down and get ready for Sunday. We take the rough with the smooth, this is the business we are in."
