Josh Rock beats Callan Rydz 3-0 as World Championship assault continues in style

Josh Rock insists "there's more to come" after dismantling Callan Rydz in little over 20 minutes at the PDC World Championship.

The Antrim darts star hit twelve 140s and averaged 92.27 en route to a dominant 3-0 victory.

It tees up a massive third-round showdown with Nathan Aspinall next Tuesday, December 27.

"I am happy with the win but Callan didn't play his game, and I still haven't played my game yet at this stage," Rock said afterwards.

"I know there is more to come from Josh Rock. When you stand on this stage there is pressure on you and you have to learn to deal with it.

"Callan didn't play his game and I didn't play mine."

Rock will fly home to County Antrim for Christmas before returning to Alexandra Palace next week for the next stage of the World Championship.

The 21-year-old is confident he can go far in the tournament, but accepts he needs to brush up on his finishing.

"I am loving it here, but I just need to learn how to hit doubles quicker. But I love this stage," he added.

"I will spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family and I will fly back on Boxing Day. I will be prepared for it.

"I believe I can go all the way, but Josh Rock needs to turn up now."
