It's been quite the fornight for Denver. First, their NBA side won their first championship with a series win over Miami Heat and then outsider Wyndham Clark secured the US Open with a one-shot victory at the Los Angeles Country Club this week.
It is the 29 year-old's first major win after having a previous best of tied in 75th at the PGA Championships in 2021. He won his first PGA Tour competition last month and is now on a roll. Having been born in Colorado it has been quite the few weeks for his state.
As he was crowned the champion in America on Sunday night, Arsenal vice-chair Josh Kroenke was one of those celebrating the win. He made his way to the LACC - where he is a member - along with several high profile members of the Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE) empire's American franchises.
LA Rams head coach Sean McVay was present alongside his quarterback Matthew Stafford and the now retired Andrew Whitworth. After Josh and his father, Stan, lead the Rams to the 2021 Super Bowl he has also managed to have major success with the Nuggets.
In a parade of achievement, Kroenke hired out the pro shop at the course and took the Larry O'Brien and Vince Lombardi trophies with them as well.
To add to those trophies there has been wider winnings in the past 18 months for KSE, who own Arsenal, with the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) lifting the Stanley Cup and Colorado Mammoth winning the National Lacross League too.

Arsenal, who are now entering their 20th season since last winning the Premier League, are now the remaining major team run by the Kroenke family with top level achievements left to secure. They came closer than ever in recent years after Mikel Arteta lead an expected title charge in the 2022/23 campaign.
The Gunners topped the table for most of the season before a late collapse saw them finish as runners up to Manchester City. There remains hope that they can continue a steep rise up the league in the coming years with a young squad as they look to complete a historic trio of trophies for Kroenke.
Ahead of the new season they are set to journey to USA once more for pre-season as they embark on a quest of matches against Manchester United, Barcelona and Monaco as well as an MLS All-Stars XI. The treatment handed down to the Rams and Nuggets stars currently may well pose as an incentive and a message to the players of Arsenal set to travel across the Atlantic Ocean.
Not only is it a level of access and opportunity exclusive to men with the connections and wealth of Josh Kroenke, it also represents the scale of the challenge and journey for what Arsenal are attempting to emulate.
Neither the Nuggets or Rams were pre-season favourites to go all the way during their victorious campaigns. Just like Arsenal, who are still relative underdogs compared to their richer, more expressive domestic opponents, the precedent under Kroenke has been set and the example is being shown.
