Josh Jacobs powered a touchdown drive with an incredible run but the Green Bay Packers lost another receiver — this time Jayden Reed — to an injury in the second half of Sunday’s NFC Wild Card Round.
Jacobs made a catch of 15 yards to start the drive, went Beast Mode for 31 yards and then finished off the march with a 1-yard score to cut the Eagles’ lead to 16-10 in the fourth quarter.
The 9-play, 78-yard drive included a 13-yard catch by Reed and a key 10-yard catch from Dontayvion Wicks on third down. However, Reed went down with a shoulder injury on his catch and is questionable to return.
The Packers were already without Christian Watson, and now Romeo Doubs (concussion) and Reed have exited with injuries. It’ll be Wicks, Bo Melton and Malik Heath the rest of the way for the Packers offense at receiver.
Here’s Jacobs’ incredible run to set up a touchdown:

As many as seven different Eagles defenders had a chance to get him on the ground, but Jacobs managed to turn what could have been a run for no gain into 31 yards and a near touchdown. While ruled a touchdown on the field, replay overturned the call and marked him down on the 1-yard line. Jacobs scored one play later.
