Josh Jacobs’ cryptic tweet could hint that contract talks might not be going well with the Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs might not be too thrilled about his status with the team if a Tuesday tweet is to be believed.

Jacobs is on a franchise tag with the Raiders with a contract extension still on the table, and he tweeted out “bad business.” Could that mean he’s not thrilled about how talks with Las Vegas are going?

While Jacobs could just play out the year on the tag and hit free agency next year, it would feel more likely for the team to hammer out a deal with him before the season starts.

However, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport hinted that Tuesday’s tweet could be in regard to a deal not yet being worked out.

While Raiders fans shouldn’t immediately think that Jacobs has one foot out the door as talks continue, the running back’s social media post could mean that the two sides are further apart from a new deal than hoped at this point in the summer.
