Josh Doig scored a stunner for Verona in Serie A - but suffered late heartbreak as Udinese turned the game around to claim all three points.
The former Hibs defender made the move to Italy earlier this summer and landed the capital club a significant seven-figure fee. The 20-year-old has featured five times in Italy's top league this term to date and scored twice and provided one assist as he continues his impressive start.
But this strike is one he won't forget in a hurry after he unleashed a superb controlled low effort into the far side of the goal and beyond the diving goalkeeper. As a ball was delivered into the box, it was headed into the air and the ex-Hibees starlet watched the ball drop before taking it on the half-volley.

It was a stunning strike and start to the game for the home side with just 23 minutes on the clock. The visitors hit back with 20 minutes to play through Beto before they snatched all three points in the third minute of injury-time thanks to Jaka Bijol.
The defeat leaves Verona sitting 18th and in the relegation spots after eight matches with just one win to their name so far this campaign.
For Udinese, it pushes them into the top three with a record of six wins, one draw and one loss from their eight games.
Next up for Doig and Co is a huge clash on the road at Salernitana.
