Josh Campbell admits scoring a hat-trick for Hibs is WILD as he opened up on what was going through his mind at the penalty.
The Hibees midfielder was the star of the show as Lee Johnson's men hammered Aberdeen by six goals at Easter Road - a result that ended Jim Goodwin's time in charge at Pittodrie. The pressure was already at an all-time high going into the game after a Scottish Cup defeat to Darvel and things just escalated further with the home side relentless in the capital.
It was a big win for the hosts who responded to their Edinburgh Derby exit in the same competition to Hearts in perfect fashion. That big win moves Hibs into fifth spot in the Premiership standings just one point behind Livingston in fourth - who have played two games less but face the Jambos later today in a big battle in the race for third spot.

Speaking to Hibs TV after the match, Campbell said: “I am still trying to take it in. It is wild, my emotions are all over the place but I am delighted.
“The first goal was a rebound, I just tried to get enough power on it. I knew if I caught it cleanly it had a chance of going in.
“For the second, it was a wee bit of a shank from Joe (Newell) from the corner; but I just through my head at it and I’m delighted it went in the back of the net.
“For the third, Nizzy gave me the ball – what a guy – I have never taken a penalty in my life, so I am delighted that I managed to find the back of the net. When I got the ball in my hand, I just picked my spot and tried to strike it cleanly.”
He continued: “The most important thing was getting the three points. I am delighted for the fans to enjoy a result like that today, it was good to get a couple of the young boys on the pitch as well to experience a result like that and the performance was brilliant.
“The mood has been down a bit in the last week. But we have put our arms around each other’s shoulders and stuck together. We knew if we got the first goal today that we would go on to win the game, thankfully we did that today.
“We need to recover quickly and go again against Ross County.”
