During the Bills’ “Blue and Red” practice at Highmark Stadium on Friday, the AFC East power had star quarterback Josh Allen make the boldest statement of the training camp.
Allen came out of the tunnel sporting a “jersey-helmet color swap.” The two-time Pro Bowl talent ran onto the field wearing an all blue helmet while sporting a red jersey.
As multiple NFL teams like the Jets, Eagles and Titans—among others—have announced a return to their throwback uniforms and helmets, Buffalo could be hinting at a potential ‘mix-n-match’ combination of jersey and helmet colors.

The Bills have won three consecutive AFC East titles thanks to posting an impressive regular season record of 37–12 over that span.
However, Buffalo has fallen short of making it past the AFC title game, failing to make the Super Bowl since 1993.
Fans provided mixed reactions to the potential use of the blue helmet with the red jersey.
No matter what the team looks like on the field, the only thing that matters is winning the first Super Bowl in franchise history.
This is bad ass - well played Josh & Equipment Crew. #BillsCamp #BillsMafia https://t.co/Kk1kLpR9Pp
