Josh Allen salary: How much money did Bills QB make this season?

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are set to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game this evening.

How much did Allen earn in the 2024 season?

Josh Allen 2024-2025 salary

Allen signed a massive 6-year $258,000,000 contract extension that made him one of the highest-paid players in NFL history.

The Bills and Allen agreed on a restructure in 2023 converting $26,420,000 of his salary into a signing bonus, a maneuver that freed up $21,136,000 in cap space for Buffalo.

In 2024 they made a similar move. $14,875,000 of Allen’s pay was converted into bonuses, bringing his salary down to $1,125,000. This restructure netted him a total of $60 million cash for the season while freeing up $16,700,000 in cap space.

In total, Allen’s cap hit in 2024 amounted to $30,356,281, per Spotrac.

How much will Josh Allen make next season?

Allen’s base salary in 2025 is set to be $14,000,000. He is also expected to take home a workout bonus of $500,000. However, it would not be a surprise to see the Bills offer him another restructuring agreement should they feel the need to free up cap space. Such a move could see Allen take home a hefty cash bonus.
