Josh Allen's Jersey Ripped As Referees Miss Obvious Penalty in Bills-Eagles Game

Bills star Josh Allen may need a new jersey after Eagles pass rusher Haason Reddick got a fistful of it and held on for dear life during a play in the second quarter of the Buffalo-Philadelphia game.

What was even more eye-opening than seeing the top of Allen’s jersey shredded was the fact that the referees somehow did not flag Reddick for a horse collar penalty, even with the evidence right in front of their eyes. Instead, they called intentional grounding on the Bills quarterback.

This is certainly a penalty that the league office will be hearing about, as the referee had the best spot in the building to view Allen’s collar being tugged by Reddick. The penalty was a costly one for the Bills, as they missed a field goal attempt moments later.

Fortunately for Buffalo, Allen and the Bills returned to the red zone before the end of the half, scoring on a 13-yard strike from Allen to Stefon Diggs. But it's a safe bet that Bills fans won't be forgetting about that missed penalty anytime soon, regardless of the result of the game.
