Josh Allen Makes History In Week 14

Josh Allen has solidified himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the game.

He is a dual threat that can pass and run. He is capable of beating a defense in many ways.

Allen is the odds-on favorite to win the NFL MVP award.

Josh Allen made history despite losing 44-42 against the Los Angeles Rams in week 14.

Below, we discuss Josh Allen making history in week 14 and recap the wild week 14 contest.

Los Angeles Rams Defeat Buffalo Bills In High Scoring Game

The Rams and Bills game was the best game on Sunday in week 14.

LA defeated Buffalo 44-42. Matthew Stafford had 320 passing yards, two passing TDs, and zero interceptions. Kyren Williams had 29 rush attempts, 87 rushing yards, and two rushing TDs. Puka Nacua had 12 catches, 162 receiving yards, one receiving TD, 16 rushing yards, and one rushing TD.

With the win, the Rams remain alive in the playoff hunt and the division race.

Despite losing, the Bills remain second in the AFC but have the same record as the Steelers. Buffalo heads to Detroit for a massive contest in week 15 while the Steelers travel to Philly to face the Eagles.

Both teams still have a chance to catch the Chiefs for first in the AFC but it seems highly unlikely with KC 12-1 and only four games remaining.

Josh Allen Makes History In Week 14

Despite losing in week 14, Josh Allen made history in the game.

Allen became the first ever player in NFL history to record three passing and three rushing TDs in a single game. He had 342 passing yards, three passing TDs, 82 rushing yards, and three rushing TDs.

After his performance in week 14, Josh Allen has pretty much cemented the MVP award.

Through 13 games, Allen has 3,033 passing yards, 23 passing TDs, five interceptions, 416 rushing yards, and nine rushing TDs.

He is the reason Buffalo is 10-3 and has been the best player in the league this season.

However, nothing Allen does in the regular season will matter in the end if the Bills are unsuccessful in the playoffs.

Allen has been excellent but he needs to defeat Mahomes and the Chiefs in the playoffs, something he has been unable to do. It has not been Allen’s fault. He has played very well against KC in the playoffs but he has come up short each time.

This might be the season he gets over the hump as the Chiefs have been extraordinarily lucky this year.

Week 15 might be a Super Bowl preview between the Lions and Bills.

Josh Allen will have to be Superman once again against the best team in the league.

After making history in week 14, Josh Allen will be this year’s MVP and has the Bills poised for a deep playoff run.
