Josh Allen has usually torched Jalen Ramsey. Now he gets to do it twice a year

Jalen Ramsey is understandably excited about joining the Miami Dolphins after a huge trade with the Los Angeles Rams, but he should probably hold back some of his joy. Just to be safe.

That’s because the star cornerback will now have to face the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen twice a year. Allen, of course, is not only one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks, he’s also had Ramsey’s number in their budding rivalry against one another. The cornerback has never won a game against the star signal caller (0-3 in his career).

In fact, after Allen’s Bills humbled Ramsey’s Rams last season, many folks wondered if Allen had remembered when Ramsey called him “trash” back in 2018. (Probably)

Plays like this deep touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs have mostly been the norm.

Lest I forget, Ramsey will also try to flip the Dolphins’ luck against Josh Allen. They are only 2-9 against the Bills’ face of the franchise. Adding a corner like Ramsey, no matter how good, isn’t a guarantee those fortunes will shift. Far from it.

Call it a hunch, but I’m pretty confident Allen still hasn’t forgotten Ramsey’s disrespect, and he won’t let the defender be the person that gives the Dolphins an advantage in their rivalry with the Bills.
