Josh Allen Gives Honest Assessment After Bills’ Second Straight Loss: ‘A Lot of Bad Football’

Bills quarterback Josh Allen struggled with turnovers during the loss on Monday night against the Broncos, throwing two interceptions and coughing up a fumble.

After the game, Allen spoke to reporters and was brutally honest on the team’s recent woes, summing it up as some “bad football.”

“It sucks,” said Allen during his postgame media address. “Shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place. It was a lot of bad football. A lot of bad football.”

Buffalo has now lost two consecutive games and are losers of three of their last four contests. During that four-game span, Allen has thrown five interceptions and recorded two fumbles.

The Bills are now 5–5 after starting the season with a 3–1 record. A tough schedule looms, too, with matchups against the JetsEaglesChiefsCowboys, and Chargers looming in their next five games.

Allen was asked if he was confident that the Bills would get back on track amid their poor midseason stretch.

“Yeah, I’m still confident. But it’s no secret the clock’s ticking. Got to have some urgency now," said Allen. When asked how he was able to maintain his confidence, he replied: “Because we’ve been here before.”

The 27-year-old has now thrown an interception in each of his last six games and in eight of his 10 games this season. His 11 interceptions are the most in the NFL this year.
