There are strip sacks and now there is a trip sack.
The Bills and Chiefs were playing another tense AFC battle at Arrowhead on Sunday.
Josh Allen dropped to pass in the fourth quarter and appeared to be able to get away from an onrushing Chris Jones of the Chiefs.
Suddenly, Allen’s legs went out from under him after Jones used his leg to take down the Bills’ quarterback.
Allen was furious when he got up, claiming he had been tripped and that Jones should have been penalized.

The CBS booth was quick to say Jones should have been flagged. Officiating analyst Gene Steratore agreed.
Jones would likely be quick to say it makes amends for the atrocious roughing the passer flag he received against the Raiders.
