The Buffalo Bills’ social media team was at work on Saturday with a clever tweet, crediting Josh Allen with becoming the first quarterback to win in all three Thanksgiving time slots.
The Bills’ star QB completed the trifecta early Thanksgiving when the Bills downed the Detroit Lions.
In 2021, he led the team to a victory over the Saints in the evening time slot. And two years earlier, he paced the Bills past the Dallas Cowboys in the late-afternoon window.
Of course, the night slot didn’t start until 2006 so many quarterbacks didn’t have the chance to play in all three slots.
