The Joseph Parker next fight sees the former world heavyweight champion challenge Britain’s Daniel Dubois for his IBF World Heavyweight Title in Saudi Arabia on February 22nd.

Joseph Parker Next Fight: New Zealander Faces Daniel Dubois On February 22nd

Joseph Parker aims to become a two-time world heavyweight champion in his next fight on February 22nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The former WBO World Heavyweight Title holder lost his belt to Britain’s Anthony Joshua back in March 2018, but has been on the comeback trail ever since and is now in the form of his life.

Joseph Parker’s record currently sits at an impressive 35-3, with 23 of these wins coming via knockout. The only defeats on Parker’s record came to three Brit’s in ‘AJ’, Dillian Whyte and Joe Joyce. However, the 33-year-old is a different fighter now and is at his firmly at his peak.

The New Zealander aims to improve this stellar resume in his next fight too, as he takes on Daniel Dubois for the IBF World Heavyweight Title in Riyadh. This fight is the co-main event of the next Riyadh Season card in Saudi Arabia, headlined by the Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol rematch.

The Joseph Parker next fight sees the New Zealand heavyweight listed as an underdog with the best UK betting sites, but he is used to that by now. He was underdog against both Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang in his last two fights, but won both. Write Parker off at your peril.

Boxing fans are in for a treat on February 22nd, with Daniel Dubois vs Joseph Parker just one of several world class fights on the bill. Dubois is riding the crest of a wave following his five round demolition of Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium last time out, but Parker provides a completely different challenge.

Could Joseph Parker Rematch Anthony Joshua In 2025 If He Beats Dubois?

Although it has been confirmed that the Joseph Parker next fight will be against Daniel Dubois in Saudi Arabia on February 22nd, boxing fans are already talking about some proposed match-ups for the New Zealander in 2025 and beyond.

The appetite will be there for an Anthony Joshua rematch next, provided Parker gets past Dubois. Eddie Hearn has admitted his desire to throw ‘AJ’ in with the Dubois vs Parker winner next, in what would be a rematch against either man.

His Excellency Turki Alalshikh could certainly pull a few string to make this fight happen too, given his strong relationship with all parties. For Parker, a rematch with Joshua is a fight he craves and feels he is more ready for this time around.

For their first fight back in 2018, Parker was just 26-years-old and relatively inexperienced. Now he is an established heavyweight and in the form of his life, he would certainly fancy his chances in a rematch with the British boxing superstar.

If a rematch with Joshua was to happen, the best boxing betting sites in the UK would likely list ‘AJ’ as a slight favourite. However, Parker would have plenty of backers, especially if he were to beat Dubois next and look good doing so.

Time will tell what is on the cards next for Joseph Parker going forward. First, he must beat Daniel Dubois on February 22nd at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
