A rival of Jose Mourinho has reopened his feud with the Roma boss following his controversial behaviour towards Anthony Taylor.
The Portuguese manager suffered his first defeat in a European final last Wednesday, with his side beaten on penalties in the Europa League final by Sevilla. But the post-match talk was dominated by Mourinho's treatment of the referee, who he claimed "killed" his side before bizarrely confronting the official in the car park.
But the situation escalated the following day when Taylor was attacked by Roma fans, seemingly fuelled by Mourinho's savage assessment. And in their final Serie A game against Spezia last Sunday, supporters held up an X-rated banner to further abuse the Englishman.
And pundit Antonio Cassano, who won 39 caps for Italy, has now taken aim at the divisive 60-year-old boss. There was already an unsavoury history between the pair, with Cassano claiming Mourinho "didn't give a s**t" about football, with the 'Special One' scathing about the star's "mediocre career."
And the war of words has now been reignited, with the ex-attacker telling Christian Vieri's BoboTv Twitch channel he hopes Serie A has seen the last of Mourinho: "He said he is going on vacation, hopefully, he won't return to Italy anymore, he's a scumbag.
'In the past two years, we've only seen fights and he has helped ruin the image of AS Roma and recent episodes have not served the club well. I hope for my people, that Mourinho heads to Portugal and never returns to train in Italy."

Cassano did acknowledge he felt Taylor made mistakes but also defended the official: "The referee got some things wrong but in the same way that players can miss goals," he continued. "I think Taylor struggled with the task at hand.
"Everything that happened afterwards began with Mourinho, he went to the car park to protest and confront the referee. We've all seen the videos and that fed into Roma fans harassing Taylor and his family the next day at Budapest airport."
Mourinho has since been charged by UEFA, but Cassano could soon get his wish with the Roma manager heavily linked to a move to PSG. After the final defeat, he tellingly refused to commit his future to the club.
