Jose Mourinho has been slammed over his coaching style, amid reports he is being lined up for a possible return to Chelsea or Real Madrid.
Reports in Spain this week claimed Chelsea have “made contact” with Mourinho over a sensational move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Mourinho has also been linked with a shock return to Real Madrid if Carlo Ancelotti leaves at the end of the season.
His Roma side laboured to 1-0 win over Torino on Saturday and their dour style of play has come in for criticism despite them being third in Serie A.
Antonio Cassano has launched a scathing assessment of Mourinho’s coaching, saying: “If Los Blancos want a coach, they will not call Mourinho for their new project.
“Mou doesn’t give a sh*t about football. He doesn’t like to work, he doesn’t know how to communicate or speak, let’s not be fooled by his story.”
But Mourinho has hit back at his critics, saying: “You win games when you score one more goal than your opponent.
“Whether you win 1-0 or 5-4, it makes no difference. Whoever scores one more goal wins the game. And the objective of sport is to win.
“The objective remains the same always, to win as much as possible with the quality at your disposal and try to hide the weaknesses.”
