Jose Mourinho has been served a four-match suspension and fined £35,000 after the 0-0 draw between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.
The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss was accused of using racist language by Galatasaray during the Super Lig contest.
The rival club claimed Mourinho made "derogatory statements directed towards the Turkish people" and vowed to "initiate criminal proceedings concerning the racist statements made".
Post-match, Mourinho had said the opposition bench were "jumping like monkeys" after an early tackle and then stated the match was better for being refereed by Slavko Vincic from Slovakia rather than a Turkish officiating team. Both teams had requested a foreign appointment for the match.
On Thursday, the Turkish Football Federation confirmed the decision to ban Mourinho for four matches and issue him a fine over two disciplinary matters.
According to the report, Mourinho had directed "derogatory and offensive statements" to the Turkish fourth official as he visited the referee room after the match.
The TFF first issued a two-match ban and £2,500 fine to Mourinho for "actions and statements that insulted the brand value of football activities in Turkey".

On his post-match remarks in his press conference, the TFF deemed: “It was determined that the statements used towards the members of the opposing team, were not mandatory, were contrary to the ethics of sports and the concept of fair play, contained expressions that could encourage violence and disorder in sports, were divisive and separatist in society and could cause fan incidents, and therefore, it was deemed an act against sportsmanship.”
A second two-match ban, and £32,500 fine, was issued for those remarks.
The ban means Mourinho will not be allowed in the dressing room of the dugout for four upcoming matches.
However, this will not impact Mourinho's ability to manage his side in the Europa League against Rangers.
The ban only affects domestic fixtures, meaning Moruinho will miss the matches against Antalayaspor, Samsunspor, Bodrum and Trabzonspor.
In between times, he will be allowed to carry out his duties as normal across both legs of the Europa League round of 16 tie next month.
Rangers travel to face Fenerbahce in Turkey for the first leg next week before the return fixture at Ibrox on Thursday, March 13.
