Jose Mourinho has sent out two messages surrounding Paulo Dybala as the attacker is linked once more with a move to England. After a failed transfer to Tottenham in 2019, under the management no other than Mauricio Pochettino, Dybala has continued to attract suitors from across the world.
At 29 he is now a much more experienced player and boasts nearly 300 Serie A games with over 100 goals and 50 assists in the competition. He is also a World Cup winner with 38 caps and has once again managed to find his form.
Having run down his contract with Juventus, Dybala took the risk of linking up with Mourinho at the dawn of new Roma last summer and rewarded the Special One, scoring 12 times with seven assists in 25 games. Though once more hampered by injury, Dybala yet again showed why he was still so highly rated.
Across the season he managed five league games with more than one goal contribution and has hit ten or more league goals in all-but-two of his senior campaigns since 2014. Given the Argentine connection with Pochettino and previous admiration, there is no surprise Chelsea have been linked with the versatile forward.
It is said that Dybala's release clause is only £10.3 million ($13.2m) for clubs outside of Italy and that Pochettino has specifically made a request to bring the playmaker to Stamford Bridge. However, with more reports stating that Roma are keen to extend his contract beyond 2025 and to tie him down for longer, Mourinho has raised the alert.
Speaking earlier this window, he said: "I don’t know anything about his contract. But obviously I talk to Paulo like I do with all of my players."

Mourinho has gone a step further this time, taking to social media to send out two strong messages regarding his prize asset. Firstly, he took an image of his tactics board with the Roma squad and Dybala's name is among those that have been listed under returning on July 10.
Having spent much of the past week enjoying the sites in England, attending Wimbledon and the Formula One, Dybala appears to be due in on Monday for pre-season training with his teammates and is evidently part of Mourinho's plans in attack.
The Portuguese manager then took things on from there, posting an image of a story from an Italian paper with the story that Dybala has returned and is feeling 'pure joy.' He also wrote: "@Hublot [watch company] Must be very happy."
Dybala has since been seen at the Trigoria training base for Roma, writing online himself: "Good morning my friends, today we start again." He was also greeted by mass applause from the Roma fans and journalists who asked him if he was happy, to which he smiled and replied with a simple yes.
The transfer window is rarely straightforward, though, and it's possible that Dybala remains the centre of attention for a while to come.
