Philippe Clement insists he has 'incredible respect' for Jose Mourinho.
However, the Rangers boss admits the Special One's defensive style of football is not his cup of tea.
The Scottish Premiership giants will meet Fenerbahce in the last 16 of the Europa League next month, with the second leg to be played at Ibrox on Thursday, March 13.
Clement was asked for his thoughts on the tie as he spoke to the press during his media conference to preview tomorrow's match against St Mirren.
"It's two games that everyone will look forward to," the Belgian said. "They're a team with a lot of experience and quality.
"They have a manager with lots of experience. I know a lot of their players also from the past.
"They have a stadium with a lot of passionate fans, like we have, so I think everyone is excited for it."
"To be honest, I think so yes (the first time he's faced Mourinho). I came up against Man U a few years ago, but I don't think it was him in that moment.
"It's not a personal thing like I said - it's about the club, it's about the players.
"I'm not so busy with what manager I have come up against in one moment in time."
Asked what he admired about the former Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Tottenham boss, Clement continued: "Of course, he is someone that has won so many trophies.
"There are different managers with different styles. He won a lot of trophies in a certain style.

Why Rangers supporters still thank Jose Mourinho on the street
"I like even more managers with another style, but the respect is there. It's about winning at the end, and he did that in several places with several teams, winning the biggest trophies you can win. It's normal to respect someone who has done this.
"He's somebody who is more on the defensive and reacting out of that, style.
"Personally, I prefer more than managers who go full in their attacking force and playing out of that.
"But I have incredible respect in the way he did it. That's just a personal preference."
