Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella’s reaction to Jorginho’s shock move to rivals Arsenal has been caught on camera.
With only hours left in the January transfer window, the Italian international emerged as a surprise target for the Premier League leaders following their failed attempts to sign Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
A stalwart at Stamford Bridge since a £50m move from Napoli in 2018, Jorginho has now joined the Gunners on an 18-month contract.
The deal is believed to have cost around £10m up front, with a further £2m available in add-ons and the 31-year-old has been spotted donning the Arsenal kit.
Cucurella was filming social media content behind the scenes at Chelsea and was asked who the smartest player in the Blues squad was.

After giving Jorginho as his answer, the Spaniard was then informed Jorginho had now joined Chelsea’s big London rivals which, seemingly, he couldn’t quite believe.
