Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has admitted that he used to fight with Granit Xhaka during his time at Chelsea.
The Italian international arrived at the Emirates Stadium during the January transfer window, joining from the west Londoners on an 18-month deal for around £12 million. Since then, the former Napoli man has hit the ground running, registering an impressive 15 progressive passes during Saturday's 4-2 win over Aston Villa.
Now, the 31-year-old has admitted that when he played for the Blues he didn't always get on particularly well with his new teammate Xhaka. Speaking to beIN Sports, the talented midfielder said: “Yes, I’m happy.

"We had a few fights on the pitch before but outside of the pitch, he’s a really nice guy and we have good laughs now." Jorginho has opened up about Xhaka's behaviour off the pitch, revealing that the Swiss captain bought him dinner recently.
He added: “Yes, outside of the pitch [Xhaka is different]. I asked him the other day where I could go for dinner around here and he booked me and didn't let me pay as well.
"I was like ‘Ok, thank you very much.’ So yes he’s a really, really nice guy and I’m glad I can see this other part of him.”
