Jorginho thinks the "amazing" Kai Havertz can become a fantastic player for Chelsea in the future.
The 22-year-old attacker scored his fifth goal in as many games - in all competitions - on Sunday afternoon, with the 89th-minute strike proving to be the winner for the Blues against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.
Havertz has now scored in three successive Premier League appearances for the first time since moving to England in the summer of 2020 from Bayer Leverkusen.
The German is showing perhaps his best form since moving to Chelsea - with the £71million man looking very confident in front of goal.
Jorginho, who provided the fantastic assist for Havertz's late winner at the weekend, has now heaped praise on his Chelsea colleague and thinks he has a big future ahead of him at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to the club's official website, the Blues midfielder said: "Kai is an amazing player and guy, who can make the difference for us.
"We believe in him because you can see the quality he has and the potential that is there. He is a key player for this team and can make the difference, like we saw."
Jorginho's comments on Havertz's potential echo what Gary Neville said about the German attacker towards the end of last year.
Neville said: "I actually think Havertz has gone up a level but he is in third gear. He could go to fourth gear and to fifth gear. He could become an absolutely great player.
"When he really fills out, and he will do, he is already a great runner with the ball, but he will get more confidence, more belief and in a couple of years he could be someone who is absolutely there.
"Remember what Chelsea did with Eden Hazard? He went from here, to here, to here. I think that is what Havertz will do."
Thomas Tuchel recently underlined the importance of Havertz amid his fine form for the Blues.
Tuchel said: "Nobody is undroppable but if he plays like this, he stepped up in his mentality in his game.
"He is very good and has a huge influence physically and from his quality in our game. He is very important, in a good shape, he turned things around for himself.
"He was strong in the beginning of the season then a few weeks ago, he had a spell where he was not so involved like we feel he is now.
"He fought his way out, full credit to him. It is the right mentality, he shows how important he can be. It is very important to us."
