Jorgie Porter asks mums for advice after falling ill while pregnant

Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter has asked for tips on combating a cold while pregnant after catching the 'lurgy.' The mum-to-be asked mums for advice on her Instagram after falling ill.

She asked: "Recommendations for tips to shift a cold when pregnant pls." The star added a kiss emoji in thanks. She also wrote "the lurgy has hit" as she shared a video clip of herself cuddled up with her pet pooch.

At the weekend Jorgie, who plays soap favourite Theresa McQueen in the Channel Four soap, posted a picture of herself holding up adorable miniature baby outfits. In June former I'm a Celebrity star Jorgie revealed that she was expecting with her fiance Ollie Piotrowski.

This summer she shared a snap of herself tucking into some tasty treats as she spoke about her pregnancy cravings. She told fans: "Can’t stop. Won’t stop snacking. Seriously though feeling the need to snack all the time. Anyone else the same?" "What food cravings have you mamas had?"

"So teeny tiny. As you know baby currently has a bigger wardrobe than Ollies," she joked. And she asked her followers: "Do you ever look at newborn clothes and think… is this going to fit?" #preggolife #bumplife #babywardrobe."

__jon.bird__replied: "My little boy just hit 2 months old. We thought everything would be huge on him at first but now I can honestly say the speed at which he grows out of this is insane! We've outfits he never even had a chance to wear!"

parfairy21 told her: "Haha yes I did and when my boy was born he was 9lbs 3oz and I thought all the newborn stuff would go to waste, but it actually fit him for a good few weeks. He was still that tiny even being bigger than the average baby."

nanny_of_boys_steph wrote: "They grow so quickly that they don’t get to wear all you have in the wardrobe plus everybody buys the baby a present. Start buying the next stage now." And natashahmiller said: "I always look at the clothes for our wee one due next month and think "how teeny!" and then I remember where they need to come out of and begin to question myself."

The 34-year-old from Eccles, who is expecting a baby boy, was recently working on the jungle theme nursery in preparation. "Ok… so we’ve started trying to sort out the nursery. Will do a proper reveal when it’s all finished but I just couldn’t wait to get the cot and changing table up," she wrote alongside a sneak peek of the work in progress.

"I’m pretty impressed with myself for building the changing table to be honest, with a little help of course." At the start of this month she said "ok so it’s getting real…" as she got her hospital bag together as she previously asked for advice.

"I’ve started to get a few bits for my hospital bag…" she said." I feel like I’m going to end up taking the kitchen sink at this rate. The list is endless I need your help! What were your essentials? Jorgie added: "Pop them in the comments and save this post for when you need it."
